BUTLINS FILEY 1966

This  is me
ARTHUR HUNTER-BLAIR

I was a Redcoat at Filey for the 1965, 1966 and 1967 seasons.

During the day I was swimming instructor for the "Learn to swim at Butlins" scheme, sponsored by the News of the World.

Sometimes, there were bigger fish to fry.

When not at the pool, I would do regular Redcoat duties.

The reason the men entered the Knobby Knees competition ...... is because they got a kiss off the Holiday Princess winners
[other Reds: Tommy Cassidy, and Richard Parkin]

The lady in 3rd place seems to have become quite attached to me.

Some rather younger contestants in the
"Miss Young Debutante" competition.

With the winners of the
"DARBY & JOAN" competition

Sometimes, a girl picked ME up.

Sometimes, I picked up a boy - but only for laugh.
[The other Redcoat is GORDON BLOWER, from Liverpool.]

Hoping a more glamorous camper
will bring a bit of joy to me.
