an account of the week in 1947 when the legendary
film comedians
Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy stayed at Butlins Skegness,
plus the hotels at MARGATE, and BLACKPOOL.

This site was launched on 31st January
2007.
It will be improved and amended when time and motivation dictate.
So far, most of the images are from 1972, '73',
'74, '77, '80 and '82,
but, as time goes on, we hope to cover all the years between 1936 and
1986.
